FAQ'S

BOOKING

Please use the contact form to start the booking process. The requests are handled on a "first come first served" basis, if the artist's books are closed you will be added to the waitlist automatically. Please add info@secondsontattoo.com to your contacts to ensure delivery of all emails. 

 

We now use Acuity Scheduling for our booking process, be sure to check your spam folder for all reminder emails. 

Our artists have unique style and design preferences, we cannot guarantee our artists will accept all designs. If we cannot accommodate your design request, we will notify you via email.

Same Day Appointments are based on availability and are not guaranteed.

PRICING

Body Tattoo Services are charged based on half and full day rates. You will be emailed the artist's rates prior to agreeing to a consultation. Half Day = 2-3 hours  Full Day = 5-6 hours. For smaller designs, we price individually based on the artist and time. 

PREPARE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

To prepare for your tattoo appointment, we ask that you refrain from consuming alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours before your appointment date. Be sure to eat a good meal before your appointment and stay hydrated. Feel free to bring snacks and drinks for your appointment day. 

If you are feeling sick, have a skin rash, or have been in contact with someone ill please email us at info@secondsontattoo.com before arriving to your appointment.

APPOINTMENT DAY INFO

On the day of your appointment, your design will be finalized. Utilizing your reference photos, the artist will create a custom drawing for you to approve. The artist will draw for up to 2 hours - any major design changes not discussed prior to the appointment will result in your appointment being rescheduled. After the design is created and approved, it will be made into a stencil and placed on your skin. Please plan to spend the entire day at the studio for full day sessions, this can mean 8-10 hours. For the safety of our staff and other clients, please do not bring guests with you to your appointment. 

AFTER-CARE

Your skin will go through several phases of healing after your appointment. Your artist will give you specific directions as each person is different - if you have questions please reach out to us via email at info@secondsontattoo.com

Do not scratch or peel your tattoo. Do not exercise for 3-4 days after your appointment, sweat and excessive movement will alter the healing process. Avoid direct sunlight for 2 weeks. Do not submerge your tattoo in the pool or ocean until completely healed. Do not use any medical ointments on the tattoo unless consulted by a doctor. After your tattoo is healed, we recommend using sunscreen on it when outside to reduce fading. 

Please consult a physician if you have any questions prior to your appointment, or after your appointment.

TOUCH-UPS

After 2 months, if you need a minor touch up, please reach out to us via email to schedule a date. We provide this for no cost. If there is significant damage to your tattoo due to an accident or improper aftercare we will schedule you for a new tattoo session. *We do not provide touch-up services for work done by other artists*
